Currently lying to myself and saying that my body is more efficient than the other people who don't look like they are dying of heat and sweating like mad. So so hot

We watched Old Yeller as a grade and no one really warned us lol Bridge to Terabithia and Where the Red Fern grows were also hits. We made an "on the scene" report for a project where someone only had one arm and there was a chain saw or axe nearby. High culture.
Passing Strange At PresentWell when WE were children we read IMPROVING books like The Red Pony and Old Yeller and Animal Farm and Lord of the Flies and WE grew up traumatized and where's my medication

I once told my dad that I wanted to hug the wild bunnies outside and he said, no, I would get bunny fever. It is often difficult to tell when my dad is being serious so I assumed he had made it up. He is very like Calvin's dad when asked a question. Turns out, no, he was right (like almost always).
Headquarters3 people have been confirmed positive for tularemia, or rabbit fever, a rare tick-borne illness with symptoms worse than Lyme disease. This comes after the Trump administration made significant funding cuts to the Centers for Disease Control.
Looks like Foxboro was smart to demand funding up front. I wonder if this mythical money will go to them or to Boston (eventually).
Nathan Kalman-LambThe US host cities for the 2026 men's World Cup claim that they were *verbally* promised $1 million each by Gianni Infantino and that FIFA hasn't paid up. Truly incredible stuff. www.nytimes.com/athletic/749...
I worked with the public in Boston's tourism industry for 16 years in multiple different neighborhoods. Two things always came up when speaking with them. 1. We were a lot nicer than they thought we would be, even to tourists. 2. The city was so damn clean, how do you do that?
Aaron RuparTrump: "Look at the blue cities. What do they have in common? They're all dirty. They're filthy dirty. Their streets are dirty. Their streets smell. Their storefronts are broken. Their trees are all gross. Everything about the place is dirty. It's really all of them."
I need to remember these videos the next time I'm feeling stupid...cause JFC.
RazzballThe whole Mariners' pen believes Babe Ruth didn't exist. Kinda want all MLB players to believe this and make the owners agree to it in next CBA
So happy to not have to deal with these mouth breathers anymore.
Universal HubSome anti-abortion frother men who don't think the "pro-life movement" is extreme enough were at Faneuil Hall today trying to take their battle against "child sacrifice" to us heathens. They marched and screeched, um, preached, and will be back downtown tomorrow. www.reddit.com/r/boston/com...
