This feels like the missing piece in the US vs China discourse - you can't just look at how each country treats citizens (unless you think only American citizens count as people), you have to look at each system as a whole - what it does on a global scale: proxies, wars of choice, offshore prisons.

People in the replies seem confused so: slop is a genre invented by humans. Mr Beast videos, for example: hyper-optimized for the algorithm, soulless, plastic. Pre-AI. AI slop is merely a mass-produced reflection of the worst parts of human nature, at scale. It's really bad! But we did it first.
