In other news, somehow one of those minimalist influencers made it across my algorithm and despite me living pretty minimally most of my life thanks to growing up the way I did with somewhat hippie-gone-Reagan parents, hearing people say IT'S SO EASY in these times is making me feel grumpy.

I would absolutely have not been able to buy if I was paying what everyone these days is paying in rent. My mortgage payment's significantly higher than my rent was but it's significantly lower than what my rent would be right now.
