Monastery, either after something happened while they were visiting or resting at it, or were invited to investigate a mystery as a third party of sorts.

Still figuring out his backstory cause like... He's 120 years old. The difficulty is mainly in determining the timeline of specific events, such as when he left to become a Trade Pioneer, how long has he been doing this, etc etc

I will say I love Lancer, it's up there as one of my favorite TTRPGs of all time. But the more I read CAIN, the more it felt like that game was made SPECIFICALLY for me XD I love me some investigative esoteric psychological stuff where narrative and mechanics just blend together super well.

I've learned the hard way to put in like only half the spice packet instead of the whole thing 😅

I've had a couple of ideas, like the most fitting alternate backgrounds I think would be NHP Specialist, Hacker, or maybe Spaceborn.

I love Changeling, it really is one of those games where at first you don't get it but then you learn more about it and suddenly it's your favorite. It's up there with Mage as my favorite game line (and Nockers being my favorite Kith)
