Gotta say, driving around a car with a busted AC in this heat for like 30-40 minutes a day makes me sympathize with Mechwarriors from Battletech Eventually I'll have to start dressing like this

CAIN really does feel like a TTRPG built specifically for me, ngl. Like almost CtD or MtA levels of "This is made for me" Lancer is kinda there as well but in a different way.

Also side note: CAIN is fucking rad as hell. I love this kind of PsychologicalxSupernatural fusion stuff. Literal monsters made from psychic trauma that create Persona style Palaces with themes of desires and coping mechanisms. And also how it really sticks with out badly CAIN treats the Exorcists

I also feel obligated, for Sci-fi bs reasons, to make my Lancer pilot's Light Sidearm a snub-nosed Chiapa Rhino

Finally beat the secret boss of Deltarune Ch4 Took me a few days but perseverance is key and also not panicking

Well I failed to buy The Long Rim supplement for Lancer today... Instead I bought the CAIN pdf.

Man I really wish all the Lancer Supplements got physical releases like the core rulebook did.

I DO think it's funny how in Battletech, unless you got money, the mechs run so hot that most Mechwarriors wear nothing but their neurohelmet, their underwear and MAYBE a cooling vest while piloting their mechs XD

Also been getting into Battletech/Mechwarrior lately, it's a pretty cool setting I think I still much prefer Lancer's Mechs and Setting and Lore BUT Battletech's pretty dang interesting and cool too, def see the appeal.

Since he's no longer in a game, I've been considering reworking the Background/backstory of my Lancer Pilot OC. This mostly comes from me thinking a bit more about the timeline and how that'd effect him being a Penal Colonist and getting out, plus his skill set not really fitting a Penal Colonist 🤔

GAAAH The Gerson fight in Deltarune CH4 would be so much easier with a controller and not on arrow keys. That damn spiral arrow attack always gets me. Also the blue shells.

I think if I'm ever feeling sadistic, I'll commission an artist to draw a Lancer pilot entering/exiting a Pegasus while providing no theories or ideas on how that would look like /Joking

You know I thought I was doing something kinda cool and original when I designed my first ever Lancer character as a HORUS pilot that was almost always wearing a helmet that covered most of his face except his mouth... Then I saw this art and... pretty spot-on really. (Not exact, but is a good ref)

Been playing more Deltarune, beat Chapter 3 last night and got started (and probably halfway through-ish unsure) on Chapter 4, and I still feel this game's got some real Changeling the Dreaming vibes.
