“To punish the oppressors of humanity is clemency; to forgive them is cruelty.” He/Him 🇵🇸🇺🇸🇮🇪🏳️‍🌈🌹 Galatians 4:16

AIPAC is smart enough to not put their names on ads. They’re smart enough not to run ads on the issue they’re promoting. Why are you dumber than the folks that just burned 30 million dollars?

My pet theory is that voters, especially young voters, are less likely to show up to elections where they think their candidate has already won. If I was running a campaign I’d fudge the internals to always make it look neck and neck.

Sure, enjoy that shrinking bubble before it pops bozo. And don’t expect any take backs when you join us here on earth.

I’m sorry but this is fucking rich considering the last couple years have been nothing but perpetual crying from Zionists upset that their fascist behavior shredded any sympathy the world had for their political project.

She’s going to be too upset to maintain the character voice at all during the concession speech.

“Tell us a little bit about the war, man.” “The war in Bluesky?” “The war in BLUE-FUCKING-SKY!” *crowd erupts in cheers*

There might be enough low hanging fruit to throw the MAHA crowd a bone for a cycle or two but we’ll still be unhealthy at the end of it. Any serious attempts to fix the problem are going to have tradeoffs in price and convenience that crunchy suburbanites may accept but other communities won’t like.

I think the basic political problem comes down to this. People want cheaper and healthier food and you really can’t choose both.

Well, you see, I just remembered there are some reasonable limits on VBNMW. Not on minor stuff like a little genocide or trans people’s rights or whatever but on major scandals like being Muslim or supporting Medicare for All.

A progressive that democratic socialists like is likely winning in Michigan. This is more of a warmup crashout to the real crashouts coming tonight.

Michigan Democrats really looking to inflict maximum psychic damage tonight.

I imagine people would be less upset about the olds clinging to power if they were olds that didn’t shit on every youth dominated protest movement of my entire fucking life.

Yeah, the account with several thousand followers, tens of thousands of comments, and barely any engagement on their own posts seems much more legit. It’s crazy to me that you guys don’t realize how fishy your accounts look to regular people.

Establishment democrats are so darn smart. You caught us. All the primary voters for left wing candidates are Russian sleeper cells too. We say we’re against oligarchy but actually we’re in bed with Gazprom. And we would’ve gotten away with it too if it wasn’t for you meddling moderates.

100

And I’m saying I find it extremely hard to believe you’re being sincere in your desire for another third party drawing voters from Democrats. You’re just whining that other people are allowed to participate in democracy and decide who they want to govern them.

100

The difference between then and now is that these aren’t deals in smoke filled rooms anymore. The people themselves are deciding who they want representing them and you’re crying that it’s unfair for them to choose somebody that isn’t your preferred candidate.

100

So do you think the Democratic Party should still be the party of a small federal government, slavery, and Manifest Destiny? Was it also dishonest for progressives to move the party into opposing Jim Crow? Political movements embed themselves in the parties and change their character all the time.

100

DSA members have been voting in Dem primaries since it was founded. Non-DSA Democrats just lost the popular vote and you want less people participating? You’d really rather lose more than respect the democratic process? Dem voters collectively own the Democratic Party, sorry if that upsets you.

100

The reality is that in a democracy it’s supposed to be easier to convince one person to listen to the electorate rather than convince the electorate that they have to listen to one person or else. The voters didn’t fail the party, the party failed the voters.
