Maggie Thatcher & Neil Kinnock did such a good job of destroying the left we haven't been governed by them in 47 years. The swing has been between the centre & the right. We need a multi party system & independent press and educating those who always vote the same way regardless.

I always tell people the one right we will never have is the one they do as a majority, they get to decide the rights of everyone else. We only have choices, to accept or fight for more than the crumbs they throw us.

Yes in the last twenty years we've seen a defunding of local social facilities as central Gov halved local Gov funding. At the same time a genocide attempt on trans kids. Plus companies running on a fraction of staff they once did & burning them out at record levels, all while increasing profits.

The only ray of light I can give you is the one I tell myself each day. The far right are at their most powerful around the world they have ever been and yet they struggle to push their agendas. Good people are fighting on & the far right have one overall weakness in that they are corrupt & implode.

It doesn't help that most of post war America has been built for the car, you've got to have one to live unless in a city centre. Cars have also got bigger & more expensive year on year with car ownership becoming a toxic debt. The bill for decades of excessive road building is also hitting home.

If it was the UK those sign would vanish overnight every time they put them up. That or it would say Fuck Trump in spray paint. 🙄

Always have been, always will be. The trans community has a lot groups within groups, some good some bad. I just get on with my life, support when I can, don't judge my worth by others, we are all different. Kinda what this is all about. Holly if this is getting to you pull away as I do at times. x
