I've seen more people just straight-up run red lights in San Diego since Covid than I had in my entire life up to that point. There's essentially zero traffic enforcement in Southern California.

I most definitely understand why cyclists and pedestrians feel like the infrastructure and driving public is actively trying to kill them. At the same time, as a daily commuter, I feel like many of my fellow drivers are actively trying to kill me as well. I hate it, and them.
