I don't hate ID1, but you'd have to have a really nice jam concept to make me skip my Copper biosuit lava-runs. That may be my singular favourite mapping quirk introduced in a mod. Like, you can do slime runs, but it's not the same feeling as chaining biosuits to extend your playtime in the lava.

Wowaka's premature passing still fucks me up. Not only did he make Vocaloid what it is today, but he made what might be the only 100/100 front-to-back classic Vocaloid album. Seriously, the title track is some intensely face-melting j-rock, a genre great, and it gets better and better as it goes.

I can completely understand how games like Campaign Evolved come to be. You watch someone playing the game, and if they don't immediately understand something it feels REALLY BAD to watch that happen. Designers need to hold back on acting on that impulse though, otherwise you ruin the illusion.

I thought it was bad enough that Youtube starts recommending you chud morons when you watch a few Halo videos, innocent shit like retrospectives or beta footage, but then I looked at the Halo subreddit and holy fuck. Actual manchildren.

Coppertone Summer Jam 3 would rule rn but I don't have the energy to run a jam rn :( I still think my favourite jam of all time is CTSJ2, from an organising perspective (making the promo stuff was fun, including customising each beach chair level entrance) plus all the great submissions.

Is working with 3D models / animations this bad in other engines or is this a Godot Thing? It's such a fucking struggle to make even the simplest shit work.

Btw if you enjoy games like Slay The Spire or Balatro, please don't let The Bazaar go under your radar. It's all killer no filler. No metaprogression BS, it's all there to begin with and has incredible depth. The best 'synergy builder' I've played by far.
