Wowaka's premature passing still fucks me up. Not only did he make Vocaloid what it is today, but he made what might be the only 100/100 front-to-back classic Vocaloid album. Seriously, the title track is some intensely face-melting j-rock, a genre great, and it gets better and better as it goes.

Not only a fantastic songwriter and instrumentalist, Wowaka went on to create a band with him as vocalist. It's a wonder he used Vocaloid at all with a voice so unique and expressive. Not that I'm complaining. Both the above album and the EP "Imaginary Mono-Fiction" went multi-platinum in my car.
