Medusa’s WinkEspecially for things that are huge accomplishments for us, that wouldn’t necessarily mean anything to other people. We tend to forget those things, when we should remember them the most. Validation doesn’t have to come from others. These things validate us to ourselves ☺️

Our view is that studying interoception at rest may be missing the point entirely. Forthcoming work with @fiorelladpc.bsky.social calls it the "Quiescence Trap", like judging a car's aerodynamics while parked. We need to study bodily sensing during real physiological stress and symptom onset
