I finally finished framing, stringing and labelling all 7 of the pictures I'm entering into the Windermere Art Society exhibition this year, after a sudden dash to buy new frames as the last one broke. 😐 Phew.

Heartbreaking. Hoping it's just a "shot across the bows" to try to encourage (force?) ppl to reach into their own pockets...

Kirkstone Pass is open again! (after a long closure while they fixed a huge landslip) We can get to Ullswater again!

It's beautiful, isn't it? We hadn't been for a few years but have discovered they do season tickets so might grab those next year.

So we had a tub of tomato salsa in the fridge which had gone off and when we tried to get the lid off it exploded and OMG have you ever seen how far that stuff can travel? We've quite literally been wiping it off the ceiling. 😬
