I'm in a lot of pain today and super worn out so don't expect to see me much. 😔

Moving is FINALLY finished, we are DONE with the old apartment. We've washed our hands clean of it, the nightmare is over once and for all. We do still have to unpack a lot at the new place but I much rather do that.

Well moving did end up spilling over into today. So today is THE last day of moving. Whatever doesn't make it here today is gone forever, so time to haul ass and get this DONE.

It's not even noon and already 93°F outside with little wind and no clouds and I'm hauling boxes. 😭

In five years my trilogy will be finished, my duet will be finished, and PTS will be finished. And hopefully people will be reading them and enjoying them as much as me. I don't expect to be writing full time in five years, buuut it would be super cool if I was, or at least working part-time.

Man, making your own characters and playing with them is so fun. I love putting a guy in a situation.

Tonight and tomorrow are the last big days of moving and then we'll be done. Well, there might be some spillover into Friday, but the bulk of it will be done by then. Soooo ready to be finished with this.

Tried waking up at 6:00am today... and immediately fell back asleep after my first alarm went off. 😔 I'll try again tomorrow I suppose.

Every few weeks I find myself wanting to return to doing Morning Pages, but waking up early enough to do them before work is always so hard. I'm a night owl, 6:00am and me are not friends. The heart wants, the body refuses.

Was looking at my word tracker for the year. I'm curious what 2026's final number will be. It's lower than I though it would be, but who knows, it could spike up in Fall and Winter. I'll be drafting a new book by then.

Another day, another work shift followed by a few hours of packing, cleaning, and hauling boxes. 😭

It's the final week of moving, meaning everything has to be done and over in the new place by Friday night. It's going to suck, and I probably won't get much else done, but it is what it is. I'll just look forward to the end of it.

Oops I've been playing FFXIV with my bestie for 8 hours. You know what though? I'm having a good time and I feel a little rejuvenated from it all so I'm going to try and not feel bad about it. It's recharging time.

I'm torn between trying to get some edits done today or letting myself take it easy. Moving is still ongoing and taking a lot out of me, so I could use a break, but also this book needs to get done...
