I read a fair way into that article because I was curious about what her "disgusting June stunt" actually is. I couldn't find that one simple thing, so I gave up.

That dude is almost impressively banal & longwinded. I can't believe I plowed through a few thousand words of his saying almost nothing before bailing out.

No Jews, Muslims. Hindus, Sikhs, et al.... are welcome in that agency. As for my own religion—polytheistic Earth-centered paganism—we're *way* down the list. If this trend keeps up, someone like me could be burned as a witch.

Not at all. I'm the last oerson to say, "Suck it abd continue to watch the country get worse." I'm *always* pushing for positive change. I just meant that I don't think a blue-vs-red-state split would work.

I like ambient music selections that're like 2-3 hours long. No overlap with processing I need for art, no words to prevent my going into nonverbal flow state, and minimal babysitting.

I always like "wake up, people!" messages if they include hopeful calls to action. As in "wake up, people! we can make a change if we all do X."

I have two approaches, depending on mood: —one beloved album after another that I know so well, they amount to background noise —ambient music that's not downbeat or droning I absolutely cannot listen to anything with words I'll pay attention to. Very important to go into a purely nonverbal state.

All I can see is that he said "banding" when it should've been "bandied."

Geographic solutions don't work. Because every red state has blue urban areas, and every blue state has red rural areas. Plus, it's just cruel to ask people to leave their family, friends, job, and often cultural upbringing behind in order to move out of a state on the wrong side of the divide.
