Yes. The attacks on us are largely coming from evangelical Christian movements. Look at who’s in the White House, look at their connections to people like Doug Wilson and look at how much money is going into spreading MAGA ideology across the west.

I want them to explicitly say it though. If someone took issue with me in the male changing room I would feel more vulnerable to assault than I would dealing with a woman challenging me for being GNC. I would stand up to a cis woman, I wouldn’t feel so keen to stand up to a cis man.

The SC ruling was about EA2010 only. It did not rewrite legislation. It answers “for the purposes of EA2010, what does sex mean” it did not answer “for the purposes of toilet use, what does sex mean”. Gender reassignment is still protected in EA2010. I hope you understand what reassignment means

The people doing acts of violence aren’t concerned about immigration. They hate people who aren’t white. Protesting an immigration centre with a placard is a protest. Burning things and violently attacking people is racially motivated disorder.

The SC ruling didn’t make new law. It said something very specific about the Equality Act. It did not make new laws about toilets or hospital access for trans people. So are they following the actual law on gender recognition or the made up law that terfs think parliament created?

What they fail to outline is what law they are following - the law on gender recognition or the law which only speaks about the equality act in a specific context and that ruling had nothing to do with creating separate toilet provision let alone hospital care

Where are they even going to put us? The hospitals are hardly modern with loads of space. This isn’t going to survive contact with reality and will result in the NHS being sued.

No, you’re meant to be ashamed that you’ve allowed yourself to be convinced that trans people are the issue. You should be working with us because the only way to address the harms violent patriarchy imposes, is to show gender is broader than the harmful binary it demands stays in place.

💯 and I honestly think that this guidance will be the GC’s undoing. They can’t now control what happens next - and what happens next will be an array of legal action. They can’t control the unpredictable consequences of what this unleashes.

Every movement for civil rights has been met with oppression. They have always been in operation at the same time but progress for civil rights happens because people fight on and don’t give up. Also, her answer demonstrates two things - one, that it’s never been an issue and people have never made it an issue. And two, it’s now an issue that is “complicated” by the fact you can’t ask people what their sex is reliably. A 5 year old could have made better policy.

So you can make things unisex but if you do then women can sue the business because they discriminated against then but if they have male & female only they discriminate against trans people by leaving them no space?
