Care is expensive to provide - there are charities providing it where the fees are £60k a year. Staffing costs are the main expensive and workers’ pay has risen considerably- but their productivity cannot as there are only so many elderly people a worker can care for

You’re completely right. Also having health and welfare (medical) POA was so important when she wasn’t getting the right care and the hospital tried to hide behind ‘we can’t tell you the details because of privacy’. Thank god for Covid, weirdly, or we wouldn’t have had it in time.
