It's not like listening to Bach's St. Matthew Passion makes it hard to listen to anything else, or watching Yi Yi made me skeptical of putting another movie of. But after Absalom, Absalom! it feels like I'm scared of reading anything else b/c unconsciously I feel like it will be a waster of time.

Predictive models that do very specific tasks have been around for decades - you've used them for years. Those models are not "AI". The issues I have are with the "generative AI" models. Those things are a scourge.

Oh there are absolutely great cheese shops here - my favorite being St. Paul Cheese Shop. To be honest I kind of avoid them now because I know I'm going to spend money I do not have lmao.
