Nicholas GrossmanI think it's important not to lose sight of the fact that we're not seeing an understandable if regrettable mistake. We're seeing a worldview empowered at the expense of others and deliberately put into action, then failing in exactly the ways its critics said it would.
People are like “22% is a big deal actually” but what they’re ignoring is that these are the “low information voters” - the people who voted for Trump because they thought he supported abortion, etc. Those people are barely sentient and swing like a sign in the wind. They define unreliable.

GreenEngineerTwo observations: 1. Food deserts are a problem. West Oakland is one. 2. I live in Fruitvale, a heavily Hispanic working class neighborhood in east Oakland. We do *not* live in a food desert. There are a half dozen mercados and one supermercado within a mile. All stock fresh fruits and veggies.
