I think the absolutely most Evil thing even past the unique skill that give you no power and the Boss' Danmaku are the Double Action mooks who's sole goal is getting their alt win con that will never engage on Enemy phase and will always defend on player phase to milk more player actions out of you.

Yeah, yeah... I won't lie I've been very eager to see your reaction to this map given you saying you enjoy Defend maps + wanting some more meat on the difficulty side (and knowing how mean this map is) Now imagine if you weren't goober pilled and Crino/3 Fairies where underleveled/not invested in

One thing I do really like is the hidden tutorial from 68 to 69 with Byakuren. 68 spits her out at max Power so she's 1 tapping like everything 69 has her a 100 Power with enemies doesn't to barely give her any and the stark contrast is very noticeable

Due note Toyohime's is once per map, Yamame's is once per turn, so they both have their use cases. But yeah The Yamame, Yukar, Toyohime and Rinnosuke express is THE way to LTC the game on NG+. The movement they all provide combined is absolutely ridiculous

THE MOST "PLAY THRACIA" MAP EVER CONCEIVED

Despite everything that happens in Scarlet no (Remi also has no Friendship with them either). It just caps at 25% for the 5 other SDM members. But yeah the trajectory of "Remi has nothing going on" to "Remi is literally invincible if you Friendball" was very fun to watch happen in real time

In short Her general raw stats just out shine all the goobersquad and 3 Fairies Flan with "Together with Bigsis makes Remi's max Friendball LV15 (a bit away from Cirno's cap but still HUGE) Scarlet Moon gives a FLAT 5% to everything (HIT/AVO/DEF/DMG/CRIT) for each fielded SDM member, caps at 25%.

Glad you did this cause now i get to finish my story on Remi's shifting meta developments. I won't sugar coat it, mixed with her Final personal skill, Remi is bare none the best Friendballer. Especially if you strap Rumia to her back

This isn’t even a thing for this game, most SRW games come the final push become ludicrously player favoured. Mooks just can’t keep up, boss are effectively HP Sponges and the sheer amount feeds you so much money to upgrade and make other units equally juggernauts as whoever you invested into early.

Sadly her going full golden is exclusively this game, in the game’s code [SuperHuman] is literally subtitled “DBZ” It does tie into a funny early uncertainty in which fans didn’t know if her auto chant scroll was causing the purple gradient in her hair, so fans have drawn her as a blond/brunette

You know a map is HORRENDOUSLY designed when one of the game's highest level meta players makes a rant video talking about it being antithetical to the entire Sandbox design they where going for with NG+ The meta players have gotten better since then but casually the map on Luna is still rancid

Well, that and the fact all 5 of these games came out right around, during and after the pandemic, which due to it cause many fandoms to spike high in new members, and these where just THE games people in the fandom where talking about between those years of fandom growth (2019 - 2024)

Don't get me wrong, all 5 are good to excellent games in their own right... but I really do feel the biggest part of their praise comes down to being short investments (LN, HoIF) that you can get fun quick bursts of (MI, LBL) that are all dirt cheep and go on sale constantly (ADiA once was 98 cents)

I have no idea what your full thoughts on HoIF are, but would you believe me that the game is considered part of the "Big 5" of the modern day "Must play Touhou fangames" (Full list is Luna Nights, Mystia's Izakaya, Lost Branch Legend, This, and Artificial Dream in Arcadia)

For the record, the literal only game in Super Robot Wars that has seeing Damage on the Battle forecast is exactly SRW Y. Every other game in the series is exactly like Fantasy Maiden Wars (as it is over 15 years old)
