When people die and the media says they had “pre-existing conditions”… they’re pacifying the public. Anyone could die from Cyclosporiasis, but they want you to believe it can’t happen to you. It can only happen to the weak, the disabled, the elderly. The expendable people. Eugenics.

This thread is a delight. Dr. Tanner handed some dudes who thought their law school degrees made them slick their asses.
Kathryn TewsonI have just been sent the transcript of a deposition my grandmother gave in 1977 while she was serving as an expert witness in a series of tribal rights cases and let me tell you, if nothing else this is proof that I come by it honest for every conceivable value of “it”
We will be ready to have a real discussion about Covid when we accept the fact that “the vulnerable will fall by the wayside,” said by Fauci, under Biden, was eugenicist policy.
My #DisabilityPrideMonth is not pride in being disabled. Being a disabled person is value neutral. I’d much rather not be disabled by this illness. It’s the worst thing that’s ever happened to me. But my #DisabilityPride is my pride in the Disablity Justice Community and THAT is worth celebrating.

Bernita Bowlding's brother: "They say that 'We love you, we got you,' but the reality is that this woman is homeless." The white supremacy in the frame and the homelessness outside it. A distinctly American story.
