What was Trump's role in this or do you give him a pass?

I like those odds, although 70 million, give or take, supported Trump in the last election & most are still goose-stepping along.

Is this act being followed in the various states? There's stories about voter purges regularly in the media, but little explanation as to what is actually being done. It's great that there is this act, but this administration has its own way of handling laws it doesn't like.

I'd send a notice in the mail to the last known address informing the would be voter that they are to be dropped. Do this months before upcoming elections.

It's good practice to keep voter rolls current. People die or move away. Dropping names isn't necessarily a "purge." It seems to me if names are to be dropped, those names should be published well in advance so that people can challenge the move in a timely fashion. Keep it public & transparent.

Then again, it doesn't say it wasn't Trump, his favorite party buddy for over ten years. How much did Trump transfer to his good friend? And, who else was sending all that money. We know the names of the victims but not the villains.

I'm not a defeatist, nor should any antifascist be one. The Courts, by & large, have held firm, with some big exceptions from the SCOTUS (immunity, cough, cough). Lots of Trump-created wild cards in the mix, like what if the DOJ won't enforce any laws that Trump, & his gang, break?

I hope you are right. He's training 25,000, give or take, ICE goons to do his violent bidding. He's all but promised to give pardons to them all for every crime they commit on his behalf.

I don't think he'd call off the elections. Too brazen & difficult to lie about. When he does badly, as he always has, he'll claim it was rigged & use whatever powers, as POTUS, that he can to discredit it & stop the transfer of seats to DEMs.
