Maybe the consumer price index isn't as great of an indicator of inflation as it used to be when more and more of us are "poor" while the rich are astronomically rich. Or maybe the dissatisfaction with inflation hits harder when you've got trillionaires out here telling us to eat more beans.

This is excellent advice for people using instant rice and/or trying to stretch whatever good resources they've got.
wyominghippieare you making shitty instant rice? for each cup of rice, replace 2tbsp water with soy sauce and loosely crush a bulb or two of garlic and throw it right on top of the rice. cook as normal. it's so much better.
