He was friends with Duchovny. Scully telling Mulder that Tea Leoni fancied him was funny, not least since they were married irl. Plus the three-way bubble bath scene with Mulder, Scully and Skinner.

Also had some recognisable names at the time - the Hollywood AD episode written by Duchovny had Tea Leoni plaing Scully in a film, and Gary Shandling playing Mulder. Obe of my favourite episodes, it was completely nuts. He’s not on screen but Richard Gere was playing Assistant Director Skinner.

Yep. He threw away a massive Labour majority. And some bad decisons (followed by u-turns) aside, the sad thing is that in a lot of ways, Labour under him was making improvements. Though of course there was always him recruiting Mandelson, which was a massive error.

A big issue with him is that the left believe he’s a Tory, and the right think he’s a radical marxist. So the only people who grudgingly like him are some boomer ‘nice’ Tories.

Oof! Years ago I briefly attended Krav Maga classes. I was picked to assist the trainer in a demo, with him standing in front with his back to me. He readied his arm for a backwards strike, then paused and asked if I was wearing a groin guard (I wasn’t at that point).That nearly ended very badly!
