A very interesting and worthwhile thread. Seriously, the government cuts libraries, public AND school, just when cost of living makes buying books unaffordable for many families, and then sits there going 'why don't they read?' Read WHAT, you toss-weasels, YOU TOOK THEIR BOOKS AWAY.

Some sensible soul has started a petition on banning the sale of disposable BBQs. Given the number of wildfires we've had in the UK and have seen over in Europe, this is an absolutely obvious thing to do.
