That album was on heavy rotation in my room for months and months. Banger after banger. A greatest hits record, sure, but there were no duds in the batch. "Goodbye Girl," Black Coffee in Bed," "Up the Junction," "Tempted," and on and on.

Then they played, and I was like, "Oh, THEY'RE the guys who sing that 'Mussels from a Shell Song.'" Seeing them made me choose "Singles - 45's and Under" through my Columbia Records and Tape subscription (that's another story, full of childhood trauma--I still probably owe them hundreds of dollars).

I became aware of them when I was around ten, and saw them play their "final" TV performance on SNL. It was just before they broke up for the first time, I guess. I was like, "What's the big deal? Why is there a final TV performance for a band I've never heard of?"

As a Phins and Sixers fan, I would support this pivot.

It is a fantastic show. Found it much more captivating than For All Mankind. Last three eps of the season were unbelievably great. Fingers crossed it gets renewed.
