More child abuse! What is wrong with the USA?

I guess it depends upon where you live and what you are willing to put up re recharging. I have had a BMW i3 for nearly 10 years now. At max the range was ~132km. We could drive to Nanaimo from Victoria or back and forth and back again to Sooke. Comfortably holds 4 people and a dog.

Just looked at the list...there is a VW ID4 and several Volvo's that are extended drive and are eligible. My husband has had a Volvo electric car for several years and it is great. The VW is a really good car too. Many dealers are willing to work around the 50K limit.

Dear American cousins...the Commonwealth is made up of the former British Colonies that didn't revolt against Britain. The 13 American colonies did revolt and became a new country. You are not eligible!

I never had luck with tomatoes except when I lived in Ottawa. In Vancouver they always got blossom end rot. My neighbour their covered his with a kind of tent so they were good and he shared! I moved a planter with grape tomatoes over here but my now-late Golden Retriever ate them before I could!

The nasty little part of me wishes that we would have allowed the ivermectin, hydroxicloroquin (sp?) and other daft "cures". We would have a lot fewer of these idiots amongst us!!!

1. No Federal Government money to pipeline projects, data centres or carbon capture projects. 2. Yes to Federal Government money in wind, solar and other green energy projects. 3. No budget cuts to things that protect the public, like food inspection. A Liberal budget, not a Conservative one.

Good to hear. I got mine as soon as I was eligible. Several people I knew had had it and it sounded very unpleasant. I got the newer one when that came out as well.

Horrible!

I had measles when I was 6. I was afraid I would go blind like Polly in Five Little Peppers, which I had just finished reading. My mom kept the room dark. I will never cease to think that people who don't vaccinate their children are child abusers!

A previous cat we had always went limp at the vet. I always figured she somehow knew it would all be over faster…as it was. She also died of kidney disease. I took her to the vet twice a week for hydration because we couldn’t get her to cooperate but the vet had no trouble.

I am so sad for you. We lost our not even ten years old yet dog to kidney disease in January. We previously had a tortie who had to take thyroid meds. It was awful trying to get he meds into her. But she died of cancer. I hope the new kitty will learn to love you.

Lived in Ottawa for 6 years when my kids were little. Tried hard not to pass my fear to them and think I did ok. Even when a transformer on a pole next to where we were driving got hit and when the chimney of a house 2 doors away that was under construction got hit. Still jump a bit.

We were in LA by then but I visited my family in Boston when I was in University. We were on our way to a mutual aunt when a lightning storm began. My cousin stopped the car and when it passed turned back towards home.

My cousin was killed by a lighnting strike back in Boston when I was a kid. He was running, with his keys in his hand, to his car and it was a direct hit...he had been attending a funeral. Lightning still scares me.

Glad the rain came today rather than a couple of days ago when we discovered that our sump pumps (replaced last winter after our basements flooded) had not actually been turned on!!!
