I never had luck with tomatoes except when I lived in Ottawa. In Vancouver they always got blossom end rot. My neighbour their covered his with a kind of tent so they were good and he shared! I moved a planter with grape tomatoes over here but my now-late Golden Retriever ate them before I could!
