Legitimately one of the main reasons I like staying in hotels, is having less choice about what to watch on TV (I don't take/use my streaming services). A terrible 90s film I've seen 5 times already? Fabulous! A confusing sitcom with subtitles? Bring it on!

I have a few, but one is that I used to be a member of The Magic Circle Context: I worked as a demonstrator in a family-run magic shop, which sold magic tricks across the range from childrens magic tricks up to stage magic. (The latter was only available to professional stage magicians).

I would *love* to donate platelets but alas - I have naturally low iron levels (I'm totes healthy, just weird), so my regular blood donation attempts are hit n'miss depending on whether my iron has dipped slightly below their cut-off. In 27yrs of regular attempts, I've achieved 15 donations. 🤣🤦🏻♀️
