I feel like the terrible hot takes of certain men online (and they have been mostly men) with The Odyssey and Obsession have been eye opening at figuring out what kind of person they are deep down.

The Odyssey, Backrooms, and Obsession have proven audiences have matured and really are not connecting with corporate slop. I worry about how this film will perform in 2026. That being said, this feels like McDonald's bringing back the McRib. Once in a while, slop is fun.

This is legit one of my favorite movies of all time, and not just because I enjoy Star Trek. There are so many themes in this film about aging and the path we take in our lives. I find in my older years I understand the characters more and their paths than I did in my youth. "I feel... young."
