My hope is Burnham doesn’t continue Britain’s disastrous “special relationship” with the US: bombing country after country, enabling war crimes, and getting impoverishment in return. There’s no evidence he won’t.

Andy Burnham says he wants to end neoliberalism but backs being “pro-business”, rejects rent controls, supports more oil and gas, bigger defence budgets, and opposes renationalising water and energy. Only the Green Party opposes neoliberalism in both words and action:
