That’s what I assumed they were talking about: if it’s AI-“written”, then it’s not copyright-able, which means it’s less valuable to them and they can’t control the “IP”.

Useful, but what if people write in a notes app while out and about? I frequently do — write on the subway, on a walk: an idea comes to me, tap it up in Notes, then transfer to a doc (or web post) later. Don’t think this is uncommon.

I am stubbornly retaining my Britishisms, despite living in Canada for 13 years. Although, weirdly, a lot of people here started saying “cheers” a few years back.

And, yes: ODYSSEY is a superb movie. Yes, he cut some things. Yes, he changed some of the characters. Yes, he's using it to comment on our contemporary situation. Yes, it's not 100% faithful to the now-available text(s). That's allowed. It's myth, not history. People can play around with it.
