I digitally investigate stuff, somehow my findings travel from spreadsheets to international media and research collectives; views are my own.

What has been seen, cannot be unseen.

It is and really makes you want to take a stroll at Bandar Abbas.

The report by Balochistan Human Rgihts Documentation Network:

I did not know that but burst out laughing for a while. Thank you.

I'm not claiming to have a crystal ball. I don't. Many of the developments we've seen were foreshadowed by Israel's own historical plans, doctrines, and actions. That's why it's important to understand the history and to read the military's own journals and writings.

With the U.S. stuck in a quagmire in Iran, one Israel is partly responsible for, and global attention diverted, scrutiny fades. That gives Israel more room to devote its resources to the colonization of what remains of Palestine.

194

Indeed.

It shouldn't be hard to understand. If you're consistently subjected to settler-colonial violence that enjoys total impunity, while neither the Palestinian Authority nor the international community offers protection, people eventually take matters into their own hands.

"But," he continued, "I can still understand young men who take up arms." It was a conversation I had online in the first half of 2023 after investigating Israeli military raids in refugee camps across the occupied West Bank. And, in all sincerity, like him, I can understand too.

The man had spent years detained by the Israeli occupation authorities in Megiddo Prison. After his release, his elderly mother begged him not to take up arms again, but to tend their farm and focus on his family. He listened because it was his mother who asked.

And, of course, you have this psychopath, McGurk, who very coldly rationalizes mass killing, treating the destruction of Gaza as if it were some unavoidable road to victory. Imagine saying such a thing openly in a newspaper. Then you really have a screw loose. Sick fuck.
