Gianni Infantino scanning the situation, realizing his presidency of FIFA is in trouble because the world football community sees him as corruption personified, and then deciding on a strategy to wriggle out of this begins with...calling on the Trump administration. He might not be a super genius.

Профиль Vivelymusic dork, movie nerd, tv junkie, gaming goofus...opinions mine, unfortunately. For work I spend lots of time surveying public opinion on all kinds of stuff. Also: St. Louis Cardinals, Blues, and Mizzou. Actively shopping for a Prem side to cheer for.
Reading about the 1st months of WW I, when the French army suffered hundreds of thousands of casualties charging into the teeth of entrenched artillery and machine gun fire, fueled by a reckless belief in elan and esprit de corps. And then you hear La Marseillaise, and it's like "Oh. I get it."
Rodger Shermani need to do a full review of all 48 but off the top of my head La Marseilleise easy S-Tier anthem
Can't help but feel like Gianni is thinking he's Trump...and just discovered that UEFA are not the GOP-controlled Congress...

C'est fantastique. Also, the chorus is such an anthemic shout along, but only in French does it work -- "Fini pour toi". It's a perfect four syllables to a metric foot in French, but in English "It's over for you" is an awkward five syllable jumble.

Brian Jay JonesAnd I mean, isn’t A CHRISTMAS CAROL the story of Ebenezer before he became Scrooge? Just a dumb tagline.
They're just real good. (There's also no one named "Pamela" in the group.)
Absolutely loving this new music from these two Australian folks. The kids? They're gonna be all right.
