I see a LOT of Elliot Rodger in the antiblackness of today's incels. Because Black American youth culture is deemed what is cool and young black men are deemed tastemakers, they are demonized by those who are (1) evil and (2) can't fit in no matter how hard they try. The Elon Musks of the world.

There's no place where the "Black girls didn't like me because I liked anime" guy can hide anymore. There's no excuse for the dude who engages in maidenless behavior. The cool black guy who looks like Michael B. Jordan can recite entire episodes of Naruto. It's your personality, fam. It's a mess.

What he does miss is that there's no barrier between "normal" and "nerd." There's no space between "cool" and "nerd." Not anymore. And I think that's why Black American nerds are so resented.
