Every Canadian needs to breathe fresh air and not be stuck inside for 6 days straight because of smoky air. Also we should all have Healthcare, and not have the government cut billions of dollars in funding.

I think the carney government may go down in history as the biggest con ever pulled on the Canadian people. A literal wolf in sheep’s clothing, taking advantage of a terrified nation to get around the deranged far right and instal a conservative corporate first government. He’s dooming us.

After 6 days of being inside because of smoky skies I do confess I have violent thoughts towards those who think more pipelines are the answer.

Lots of very active fires in OR, WA, BC, ID and MT. GOES- West geocolor showing massive smoke plumes, and mid-ir (white and red areas). Precipitation forecast for the next 10 days and many of the fires will not see any rain. Expect more rapid growth in these fires in the coming days.

All that American smoke crossing border. I guess the forest rakers took the day off.. (This is awful and terrifying and a problem for the entire planet. If only we had adults in charge)
