Same here. We often had holidays near the sites that he worked on. He’d travel and get to know a new part of the country and want to share it with us. A tour of a half-built dam or power station was often part of the itinerary.

Small world. My Dad was with B&W in the 50’s in Scotland (Loch Shin hydro and others) before joining TW and moving to West London around ‘61 (where I was born in ‘62). He was an engineer, draughtsman and quantity surveyor. We grew up with massive blueprints to draw and paint on the back of!

Ha! I just noticed that the price was dropped five years ago (7/21) and it’s still unsold.

$21,528 seems more reasonable under those conditions.
