The General is happiest getting scritches and attention… a lovable old lion! 😻 He doesn’t even mind me wiping his nose. He’s doing better since the weather has cooled too! It is really hard to avoid getting attached to this old guy 🥹 I really really hope he can be helped and adopted 🙏

Doesn’t he? So dignified 🤩 Don’t tell but I’ve been giving him extra wet food (he appears to have trouble with eating the dry kibble)

TBD if they are healthy enough for adoption. Shelter resources and space are stretched thin… and sadly there are SO MANY others with similar stories. When you donate, foster, volunteer, adopt and amplify for your local shelter, you are helping make space for pets like this Quarantine Gang 🙏

5. Angela This little one hasn’t let me get too close. Young, guessing pregnant. Stays tucked away most of the time. She’s a classic TNR candidate - was confident outside but not doing well caged. But the property is being sold so even their meager, inconsistent food source will stop.

4. The Professor So handsome and distinguished. And very difficult to photograph bc all he wants is head bonks and scratches 😅😻 (It’s heartbreaking how affectionate most of these cats are, even after years of neglect and suffering.)

3. Mike from Accounting THIS GUY. He is so friendly and polite and affable. And off-the-charts handsome. Gets along so well with everyone that I hesitated to cage him alone. I always toss treats into the carrier. Mike waits until I walk away to retrieve them… he’d rather get pets 🥹😻

2. VP Marketing Tricky to see the fuzzy nether bits bc she is SO hungry for head bonks and attention, but this rare female orangy is bossy and vocal and I love her. As @gonzo.bsky.social would say: Look at these ENORMOUS STOMPERS 🤩

I cry over The General daily and whisper “I’m sorry this happened to you” He is very old and very sick. Seems to have a problem with his mouth. Exceedingly polite and stands patiently for scritches. Look at the size of this tick that was on his neck 🪳🙀
