Today was hard 😿 I assessed a horrific situation where an elderly owner had basically left his housecats to fend for themselves for over a year. Not enough food or water. Garbage and feces everywhere. The surviving cats & kittens appear sickly. This is my first severe neglect case… 1/🧵

Sweet little Balu is having a tough time 😿 I helped get him neutered + vaccinated + microchipped. Turns out he had an undescended testicle… vet said his was the toughest “crypto” surgery she’d seen in over 1,500 s/n surgeries! He’s recovering well but turns out he has more issues… 1/🧵 #Caturday

Update: Clack & Tappet are reunited with their handsome tabby dad “Tom” and seem much happier in their outdoor home with their colony 😻 It’s bittersweet but the right choice for them at this time… I’m hopeful the kind caretakers will continue progress with socialization. #CommunityCats
