UPDATE: I've been sharing that Beshear has until August 4 to appoint a dem to McConnell's seat. That's not correct. There is no cutoff date. The August 4th date came from this language in the KY constitution, but it only applies if Mitch's term wouldn't end this year, and only for special elections.

My God. For those who can't seem to see the adults as fully human or worthy of protection, an American infant was left in a field in Guatemala next to her murdered parents' bodies! But maybe they won't care since they dont think that child should be American. I am beyond sad and disgusted.
