We need more feel good apocalypse stories, and Michael Rooker as a good guy

The people freaking out about Mamdani are the people who support Netanyahu, and by extension, support Trump. Their opposition to Trump is a front. They want to keep public focus singularly on Trump, the individual, instead of on the broader mafia networks that include Netanyahu.

No one has Trump's ear. They have his bank accounts and his blackmail. He doesn't care what people think. It's possible that people backing her have actual sway, but she's only a vessel. People should be looking at her backers. A good place to start is examining who's been funding her all along.

One thing people should REALLY be looking at is where Trump's billions go when he dies. That will help explain who's running him, with whom do they plan to replace him, and to what network their loyalty lies. Trump is 80; he's not making this money so he can have a good time. He's a vessel too.

Loomer's audience isn't that big and is disproportionately hate-watchers/people who enjoy a political circus led by the villain from "Saw." It's notable that mainstream publications (AP, PBS, etc) are hyping this up and portraying it like the second coming of Yalta. Long-planned PR. Cui bono?

FWIW, Meta was fully aware of how these glasses would primarily be used. The glasses were designed to erase consent, and that is why they exist. Anything that they do that suggests they want to ameliorate this use is an attempt to win the PR battle and manipulate public opinion.

People continue to cling on to something that is already gone instead of facing the reality that their government, all three branches and both parties, are compromised and corrupt. It is delaying the hard work of organising and action required to fix things.
