Exactly. I fell for an email link one once because I was stressed and tired and thought I had indeed forgot to pay an internet hosting bill. They spoofed my whole internet providers website, very realistic. It's easy to miss the red flags if you aren't being careful even for a moment.

yeah this is not the stress I needed today!!!! I was getting ready to do some work!!

They are really good about using fear and urgency against you. As someone with anxiety and adhd I feel especially susceptible.

Yeah they had called and told me they had blocked a fraud charge on my account which has happened a lot lately so I believed it, forgetting they only text about it and not call!! Thankfully I hung up before giving too much info and called the bank directly myself.

Please be careful and don't ever think "I'm too smart to fall for a phishing scam" because they are VERY sneaky and good at this. They can spoof whole websites, phone numbers, etc.

I'm so tired of scammers!! Just had a phishing attempt that was very convincing because THEY SPOOFED MY BANK'S PHONE NUMBER and they already knew a lot of into about my business!!!

I think it is more believable they have funny names than that someone could draw such good knights so fast!!
