i am confused by this comment that is actually what happened but yes you are right, the devs loved it i was a little surprised they let me keep it in the video but i think it speaks a lot to their love of creativity

i think maybe its because much of what buckaroos love about original run is they were young buckaroos with dads like hank, and as young buckaroos we ARE weird. and now with bobby older the audience is older so its still about that relationship but in different way that might be even MORE potent

gonna keep my KING OF THE HILL praise going and say from the trot of a storyteller i went in thinking 'gonna be really difficult because you lose SO MUCH by aging up bobby and making him more 'normal' that is like the crux of the show between him and hank how can this work?' BUT IT WORKS. incredible

with so much to live up to it is kind of astonishing how good it is

like the two new seasons are so far some of the best episodes they have EVER had and it was already a classic. pretty unreal. hope it keeps goin for years

so many disappointing reboots these days that even hearing NEWS of one seems to cause eyerolls instead of excitement, but i gotta say the new KING OF THE HILL episodes are just incredible. feels like they are slightly overlooked after pulling off the impossible and trotting back at such a high level

honestly i think buckaroos consider a daily gratitude practice to be some overwhelmingly difficult thing and really it is just this. very nice work bud
