It can be really hard being a disabled streamer because sometimes we go through times where our health gets worse. And we're not as present. And a lot of people take that as a slight against them. Because we're not able to be in their streams or support them as much.

Membership complete but $40 helps replace the loan I had to get for food to last until I get food money. I was supposed to start learning to walk again today but migraines have me bedbound/in extreme pain. I need it replaced for meds. Boosts are free & support a disabled gal during pride. 💕💸

Disabled people deserve housing, healthcare, food and assistance. They deserve a living wage. They shouldn’t be forced to beg for scraps, barred from having assets or forced to re-justify their disability over and over. When basic needs are denied, people die. It’s passive eugenics.

You wanna know my power fantasy? Unlimited income so I can pay off every single GoFundMe and ko-fi goal that happens across my skyline. Subscribe to every single streamer I follow. End world hunger for good. I believe if we weren't so needlessly cruel to everyone we'd all be much happier people.

Membership is met but ANY help towards a grocery order is appreciated because it's another bad migraine day and I need to medicate and hibernate but still be able to feed myself.

Wild to see the difference in support between pride and disability pride months. A lot of us have overlap between both of those yet see drastically less shares/support during disability pride. We're people too. We still matter. Disability is the only minority you could join at any time. Be kind.

Happy 36th anniversary of the passing of the Americans with Disabilities Act. To this day, disabled people still can't get married, and our rights are actively being challenged over and over. True disability inclusion happens when we're equals to our able-bodied peers.

36 years ago today, the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) was signed into law. This came after decades of advocacy from the Disability Rights movement and changed our country and our City for the better.

When disability happens to you, you won’t be able to just “try harder”. The social supports you think magically appear? They won’t show up. The medical system will let you down. Friends & family will abandon you. You will realize disability advocates were right all along.

Membership met!! Thanks so much S-S! Any extra will help me order food. There's a $35 order minimum for 'free' delivery via the membership. My only option is Walmart or Pizza/McDonald's and I don't eat at McDonald's anymore. Even then delivery is about the same. I need something I can eat in bed.
