I managed to call them - the office was staffed this afternoon because of the deadline. The employee asked for proof of the date of naturalization and managed to rectify it. She was apologetic and sent me a record of my (reinstated) registration at the end.

Someone is messing with these hoping we don’t notice in time.

I’m thinking of contacting a journalist. BTW I immediately emailed other UAF folks who naturalized at the same time as me. Of two who responded one was ok, and the other was in the same situation as mine.
