imo a fun thing about the world series is getting random unlikely heroes? like we have an all star game, the point isn’t for every single one of the best players to be in the world series every year (or NBA final, etc)

there are lots of bad things about baseball discourse right now but one of them is definitely certain national reporters with large platforms constantly acting like teams should just give all their good players to new york or LA bc advertisers would like it lol

also non closers should get reliever of the year more often. josh was i believe the first non primary closer to get it back in 2018 and it was extremely correct based on his usage
