We are bringing forward recommended policy for proposals for hotels in Old Town, but considered case by case through rezoning.

Susan Kim 김수잔Gardiner: I can't support small scale developments not having sufficient off-street parking. The OCP says we can have 6 storeys without consultation, so residents won't have a say. It's going to cause havoc on the streets. So disappointed that that real consultation hasn't happened block by block.

Susan Kim 김수잔Caradonna: Wanted to make TDMs mandatory in cases of low or no parking. LGA makes that complicated, I've learned. There's still rationale for cash in lieu now to avoid driving up cost of housing. Developers aren't just gonna eat these costs.
