Early Noughties, pre-Springwatch, Bill presented the annual short-lived @mojomagazine.bsky.social Pub Quiz. It was in a dark period of his life, battling depression, but he was great; funny, acerbic, steeped in weird rock lore. A short gig but his daughter Rosie later told us he loved doing it.
Matthew SweetFarewell Bill, most radical of the Goodies. Present at Grosvenor Square with Tariq & Vanessa. Turned his harassment by the Met into slapstick TV comedy for kids. Angry, hairy, furiously talented.
