If either of those got filmed, my spouse might get me to watch plot-driven TV (to which I am famously avoidant).

One of my siblings is on a six-month stint in Kyoto right now. The pictures (particularly of festivals) have been good.

As I regularly note on here, I yell at Bake Off the way other, more normal people, yell at sports on TV.

I mean, my longterm hope is to smack a ton of solar on our quite large roof. As said roof is 20 years old, we can probably expect to reshingle in a few years, so that’ll happen first. I wouldn’t mind some intelligent* provincial or federal incentive programs either.

In the Lockdown Times, when my spouse and I had just started as professors and were teaching online, she set up her phone as a 2nd camera so that there could be CatCam on our cat’s bed (it was on her desk). Totoro the Cat made many purrsonal apurrances in our classes.

I thought your LinkedIn version of this was one of the funniest and most honest things there. We bought a house with a standalone one. One of our cats is very unclear on the concept.

This is a huge issue in scientific research - I call it playing scientific telephone, because someone thinks that paper X says this, treats their interpretation as fact, and the details get worn off with time.
