Plain SconesPlain, meaning without added fruit, but light, airy and just the right amount of crusty surface makes these scones the perfect backdrop to preserves and clotted cream. I am not a purist on that - personally I put cream on first because I find if I do jam first then the cream slides off on an irritating way. I am all about function.

They fulfill different needs and different available timeslots. My gaming group is scheduled around everyone's availability, solo games are something I can slot in my day for 20 mins instead of doom scrolling.
