It's a free country. Sophie Cunningham has the right to express her opinion and be heard, and we have the right to point out she's an incurious bigot who's been taken in by hateful propaganda solely intended to push trans youth out of public life.

I read this when it came out, and it continues to haunt me. It’s just chilling. I hope that these monsters finally won’t be able to continue to hurt women, and that their influence on young men abates.

Also, it does not matter if Russ Vought is against DEI policies, if Congress has instructed NIH take to into account health disparities in an assessment of a grant. An executive order cannot overcome a formal statement by Congress. Somebody needs to point that out to him.

Both my parents died from lung cancer - my mother at 58 and my dad at 68. They had been very heavy smokers, but they quit - just not in time. It’s an awful way to go. My sister smoked; she stopped, but got lung cancer (immunotherapy saved her). My brother smoked, quit, and then got lung cancer.
